| 77s Listserv Note: There are two different mailing lists; 1) the unofficial list that is described below and 2) the Official 77s Announcements List which is very low traffic in comparison. Jim Davis started this mailing list in late July 1996, but as of December 2002 it is now maintained by John Crawford. There are typically 100-150 subscribers with an average of 10 messages per day. The discussions typically center around the 77s, Mike Roe, or related bands such as the Lost Dogs and the Strawmen. Most people are pretty good about keeping it on topic, but occasionally a controversial topic will result in a flurry of activity. If you want to hear about rumors or insider information that isn't sent to the Official 77s Announcements List, then you should join and watch for messages from Steve Johnson, Eric & Jason Townsend, Mark Harmon, David Leonhardt, and occasionally even Mike Roe himself.
